Dr Matthew Clare

I love orthodontic treatment because it combines art and science in equal measure. There is only one thing more satisfying to me than creating someone’s perfect smile – and that is seeing the look on their face when you show them the finished result!

My mother was a nurse at Great Ormond Street Childrens’ Hospital and my father was an artist, so being an orthodontist seemed like the most natural thing in the world to me. I love my job and working with the wonderful team I have been proud to create around me over the last 15 years in Lincoln. Above all, I value being able to contribute positively to people’s lives.

Professionally, since qualifying in 1996 at Guy's Hospital in London, I have undertaken many years of study, including Specialist Orthodontic training in Bristol, where I held the post of Specialist Registrar in Orthodontics at the teaching hospital for three years.

I have presented lectures both nationally and abroad, but I now concentrate just on clinical cases, as that is where my real passion lies.

When I’m not at work, I enjoy spending time with my wife and twin children – ideally either playing tennis or skiing with my family.

All of our professional staff exceed their GDC requirements. The highlights over the past three years for our Dental Professionals include:

• Working as a trainer for an Orthodontic Therapist associated with the University of Warwick

Dr Marta Gomez

Dentist with a Special Interest in Orthodontics

I qualified in Spain as a general dentist in 2009 and I moved to Lincoln in 2010 where I live with my husband and my children. I have always had a special interest in working with children and have a MsC (London) in children’s dentistry but orthodontics has always been my main goal.

Orthodontics is all about making children and adults comfortable and confident with their smile, and I love contributing to that dream. I have finished my Diploma in Orthodontics as well and I like to keep up to date.

I love spending time with my children and family, either here in the UK or back in Spain with the rest of my friends and extended family. I look forward to meeting you and helping you achieve a great smile.

Dr Houssain El Habib

Originally from Spain, I qualified as a dentist from the University of Granada in 2015. As a dental professional, I believe that empathy and attention to detail are essential in creating a positive patient experience.

I am passionate about my work and I am constantly looking for opportunities to enhance my skills and knowledge. I am currently enrolled in an MSc program in Orthodontics and I have already completed a postgraduate diploma in Restorative and Aesthetic Dentistry.

Outside of work, I love staying active, exploring new places and spending time with my family and friends. As a Barcelona fan, I also enjoy watching football.
